Michael R. Hoover graduated from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1981 with a Juris Doctorate degree. He received his B.S. in Political Science from Central State University in 1977. Mr. Hoover graduated from law school in the top five percent of his class.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Hoover served as an Oklahoma City police officer and was an agent for both the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and OSBI.

From 1980 to 1982 Mr. Hoover served as Assistant District Attorney for Canadian County. Mr. Hoover's law practice includes, criminal defense, domestic relations, civil litigation and personal injury.

Mr. Hoover is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Oklahoma County Bar Association, Canadian County Bar Association, American Bar Association, Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association, Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Family Law Division of the Oklahoma and Oklahoma County Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court and all inferior courts of the state of Oklahoma and the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
